Getting started
Do I need to install anything?
No. You and your guests install nothing. A browser and internet are enough — host panel, TV board and team buzzer are web pages.
Can I use a phone?
Yes. Samiku games work on phone, laptop and tablet. The team buzzer is optimized for tablet.
Does it work offline?
No — the host panel, TV board and buzzer need internet to sync the live game state.
How long does setup take?
The first game takes about 5 minutes — from picking questions to connecting devices with a QR code.
TV board and buzzer
What are the TV board and team buzzer?
The TV board shows the game to the audience on a big screen. The buzzer is a browser page on one device — split into two buttons for teams. In a duel, first press wins. Connect everything to the host panel in a few clicks.
How do I connect a TV?
Open the TV board in a browser on the television (or via Chromecast / HDMI from a laptop) and connect it to the host panel with a QR code.
Does it work on a projector?
Yes — a browser and full screen are enough. It works in conference rooms, schools and community centres.
Do I need special hardware?
No. A regular smart TV, a projector with a computer, or a laptop connected to a monitor is enough.
Is the buzzer required?
No — you can host without a buzzer, but team duels are much more fun with one.
Do players need accounts or phones?
No. Only the organiser needs an account. Teams do not sign up — they join via a link or QR code, or answer out loud at the screen. Players do not need their own phones: head-to-head rounds use one buzzer device (tablet or phone) with two buttons.

Can I add my own questions?
Yes. On a free account you can prepare an unlimited library (categories, questions, up to 8 answers when saving) — including questions about a couple, a company or guests, by hand or with AI on Premium. In gameplay the first 3 questions from your library are available (alphabetical order); the rest locked; up to 8 answers on the board. Full library in gameplay — with Premium.
Weddings and events
Is it good for weddings and corporate events?
Yes. FamiliVersus and other Samiku games are built for weddings, team building, house parties and events.
Do I need to prepare questions in advance?
You can use ready-made categories or prepare your own questions about the couple — by hand or with the AI generator on Premium.
Can a DJ or toastmaster host?
Yes. The host panel is simple — a laptop and a basic grasp of how a round works are enough.
FamiliVersus
Is FamiliVersus an official Family Feud product?
No. FamiliVersus is an independent game inspired by Family Feud–style survey shows — it is not affiliated with any TV programme. You can run a similar live quiz online with your own questions and events.
How many teams can play?
FamiliVersus supports two teams. The whole room can watch the TV board; teams buzz in on one device with two buttons.
Plans and features
Do I have to pay?
Not necessarily. Demo and a free account let you play with limits (host only mode, no AI). On a free account you can prepare an unlimited library, but in gameplay you get the first 3 questions from your library (alphabetical order), the rest locked. Premium gives full library access in gameplay, all built-in categories, AI and I play too mode — from 10 PLN for 7 days. See Pricing.
Do I need Premium right away?
No. You can start for free — run a demo without signing up or create a free account. Choose Premium in the app when you actually need full access.
What does a free account offer compared to demo?
Demo without registration is a short game with ready-made questions — no creating your own categories and questions. A free account lets you prepare an unlimited library; in gameplay the first 3 questions from your library are available (alphabetical order) and up to 8 answers on the board. Premium gives all questions from your library in gameplay.
What is the difference between creating questions and using them in a game?
On a free account you can create unlimited categories and questions (up to 8 answers when saving). In gameplay the first 3 questions from your library are unlocked (alphabetical order); the rest are locked. Up to 8 answers appear on the board. Premium lets you play all questions from your library — including random draw from the pool.
Is AI available on free plans?
No. On demo and free accounts you reveal answers manually in host only mode. AI answer generation when creating questions and AI checking of player answers in gameplay — Premium only.
Which Premium period should I choose?
7 days — wedding, house party or one-off event (10 PLN). 30 days — preparing an event, testing setup and several games. 1 year — schools, hosts, companies and regular events. Premium features are the same in every option — only the access period differs. One-time payment, no subscription.
Payments and Premium
Is Premium a subscription?
No. Premium is a one-time purchase for 7 days, 30 days or 365 days. Access does not renew automatically.
Do I need an account to buy Premium?
Yes. Demo is available without an account, but Premium is assigned to your user account.
When will Premium be activated?
Premium is activated automatically after payment confirmation by the payment provider.
What happens if I buy Premium while I already have active access?
The new Premium period is added to your current period. For example: if you have 3 days of Premium left and buy 30 days, Premium stays active for 33 more days. The new access is not lost and does not replace your current plan.
What happens when Premium expires?
Your account, questions, categories and prepared library remain saved. After Premium expires your account returns to the free plan feature set. Full Premium access is restored when you purchase access again.
Will my questions and categories be deleted when Premium expires?
No. Questions and categories are not deleted. They remain on your account, but after Premium expires free plan limits may apply to using your own library in gameplay.
What if payment was charged but Premium is not active?
Contact us via the contact page and provide your account email plus the order number or payment ID.
